Meet Jessica and Paddy – two of the nicest people EVER! They had the most beautiful winter wedding in Cabra Castle
They’re both local, so I knew it would be one of those weddings where everyone knows everyone and the craic would be brilliant. I mean, the first thing Jessica told me was that she was going for a pint of Guinness with her dad before the ceremony. BEFORE the ceremony!!! This was such a genius idea. It gave Jessica and her dad a moment together, in the family pub Gartlans, before the madness kicked off. After the pints we headed over to the church in the middle of Kingscourt. The ceremony was gorgeous. Lots of music and laughter.
Now, when I say it was baltic outside, I mean wind, rain and near minus temperatures. But this didn’t stop Jessica and Paddy getting outside for their photos, in her granny’s garden and on the side of a mountain! All finished off with another pint in the pub, for good measure.
Onto the beautiful venue Cabra Castle where the drinks reception had kicked off. Christmas was just around the corner, so there was the most amazing atmosphere of fairy lights, music and people enjoying themselves. After the meal, we popped outside to do a quick night shoot with all the gorgeous Christmas lights and then it was straight into the dancing. Everyone was raring to go. The dance floor was full before the first dance was over – always a good sign that the night ahead will be a success.
Amazing wedding for an amazing couple. X
