Everyone knows I love photographing weddings in Clonabreany House , so when Shona emailed asking me to photograph her wedding there, I was delighted. And then when I heard they were having a festival themed wedding, I was ecstatic. Add in their cute little daughter Lilah and I was hooked!

Gavin, Shona, their families and friends travelled all the way from Cork to celebrate their wedding in the royal county of Meath (always a great choice of county, in my opinion 🙂 ) and my god did they party!! They both laughed, sang and danced non stop throughout the ceremony. Once this was over we walked through the grounds of Clonabreany , stopping for snaps along the way up to the main house to join all the guests partying in the courtyard. If you’ve never been to Clonabreany , they have the most amazing courtyard for an outside drinks reception. Shona and Gavin filled the courtyard with party games, jugglers, a caricaturist, dj with a sax player, balloons, candy floss, popcorn, ice cream, cocktails, bumper cars and a giant unicorn. All the guests had an absolute ball. I’m not sure I have ever seen so much dancing before 10pm at a wedding. SO MUCH FUN. This is what weddings are all about. And this is why I love my job. Thank you Gavin & Shona.

If I could go back and do it all again (vow renewals maybe??????) , this is exactly what I would do. X
